Meet the Optometrists

Dr. Bayan Naime attended the University of California Irvine where she received her bachelor’s degree in biological science in 2005. After receiving her degree, she decided to become an optometrist due to her love for the medical field. She graduated with her Doctorate of Optometry in 2009. After earning her doctorate, she practiced in a prestigious ophthalmology group in Palm Desert where she gained immense knowledge and experience in all aspects of the eye and vision. Dr. Naime is fluent in both English and Spanish. Her special interest is irregular corneas and har to fit contact lenses.

Dr. Naime takes tremendous pride in providing her patients with the highest level of care, whether she is writing a prescription, diagnosing, treating, managing medical conditions or referring a patient for surgical consultation. Her primary concern is for her patients visual needs and well being.

Dr. Eddy Naime was born in California and raised in Venezuela. Upon returning to Los Angeles he passed up the chance of being a professional soccer player in order to embark on the journey of becoming an Optometrist. He attended and graduated with honors from California State University of Fullerton, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. Due to his interest in the medical field, he decided to become an Optometrist. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the prestigious Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. After graduating, Dr. Naime began practicing in Los Angeles, where he specializes in disease management, surgery co-management, eye examinations, as well as, contact lenses and glasses. He is a member of the Vision Source network, the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association and the Los Angeles County Optometric Society. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Naime takes tremendous pride in providing his patients with the highest level of care, whether he is writing a prescription, diagnosing, treating, or managing medical conditions or referring a patient for a surgical consultation.

In his leisure time, you may find Dr. Naime spending time with his family. He has a love for soccer, so you may find him on a local field kicking the ball around. During the winter, he hits the slops snowboarding at ski resorts near and far. Donating his heartfelt time with various charities and organizations is important to him where he performs eye exams and screenings for those in need. Dr. Naime loves his profession and being able to help his patients with all of their eye care needs.

Dr. Murray Taubman is a highly respected Optometry Specialist who dedicated over 40 years to serving the Garden Grove community. A graduate with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1973, he built a reputation for providing exceptional care and was an active member of the California Optometric Association (COA) for more than 45 years.

Now retired, Dr. Taubman has entrusted his practice to a talented team of clinicians who share his commitment to outstanding patient care. This team includes a local brother-and-sister duo and a recent graduate inspired by Dr. Taubman’s legacy to pursue a career in optometry. Together, they continue to uphold the high standards he set for the practice.
